Sam Fender People Watching Tour 2025

July 6 - November 28

Sam Fender has announced the North American dates for his People Watching Tour 2025. The new shows kick off in September and fall between the UK/EU and Australian legs of the globe-crossing tour, which supports Sam’s acclaimed third album, People Watching, out now via Capitol Records.

Presale tickets for the new headlining dates will be available today, Wednesday, May 28, at 10am local time — sign up for access HERE. General on-sale begins Friday, May 30, at 10 am local time and tickets can be purchased via www.samfender.com. Sam’s full tour itinerary can be found below.

People Watching follows 2021’s chart-topping Seventeen Going Under and arrives with Sam having solidified his reputation as one of Britain’s most accomplished songwriters of his generation, not to mention a poignant and powerful live performer. If Seventeen Going Underwas Sam’s “coming of age” record, People Watching is his next step forward — colorful stories and observations of everyday characters living their everyday, but often extraordinary, lives. The album was produced by Sam with his bandmates Dean Thompson and Joe Atkinson, plus producer Markus Dravs (Arcade Fire) and The War on Drugs’ Adam Granduciel, a musician who Sam has long admired.

Sam recently shared the music video for the single “Little Bit Closer,” which reunited Adolescence director Philip Barantini with the star of that Netflix drama series, Owen Cooper. The video’s moving narrative underscores Sam’s own work. People Watching was one of NPR’s most anticipated albums of 2025 and has since received thoughtful praise from — among others — Variety, who zeroed in on “Fender’s honest, anthemic songwriting”; Consequence of Sound, who wrote that the LP “takes Fender’s poignant, exuberant songwriting to electrifying heights”; and The Los Angeles Times, who recently interviewed Sam and placed him in “a lineage that stretches back through the Clash, the Jam and the filmmaker Mike Leigh, [writing] with searing honesty about the real lives of everyday British people.”

With three BRIT Awards to his name and all three of his albums to date having hit No. 1 in the UK, Sam is a genuine rock star who has sold out London Stadium (capacity 80K) — his biggest headline show to date–and a three-night run at his hometown stadium, Newcastle’s St James’ Park. His North American shows offer fans a rare chance to see him in more intimate settings.
