WAR AND TOWER OF POWER W/ PONCHO SANCHEZ AND HOST DJ MUGGS OF CYPRESS HILL COMING TO YOUTUBE THEATER

On December 20, 2025, the culmination of California’s legendary musical history will come together for one night only showcasing four esteemed musical acts on the Regime Music Group roster at the YouTube Theater in Inglewood, California.

WAR, Tower of Power and Poncho Sanchez will come together for an evening of the quintessential California playlist, and the night will be hosted by none other than super producer and Cypress Hill legend, DJ Muggs. Fans can expect to hear all of their favorites including, “Low Rider,” “What Is Hip,” “Besame Mama,” “Why Can’t We Be Friends,” “Soul Vaccination,” “El Conguero,” and many more classics. In addition to a night full of hits, fans can expect plenty of holiday cheer and surprises sprinkled into the event.

About WAR:
WAR, one of music’s defining and most enduring soul/funk groups, was founded in Long Beach, California. In 1969, producer Jerry Goldstein united the seven-piece band with former Animals lead singer Eric Burdon; the alliance produced the No. 1 worldwide hit “Spill the Wine.” Stepping out on their own in 1971, they launched a fruitful career with a dynamic sound that fused R&B, rock, Latin music, jazz, and blues. GRAMMY-winning bandleader, conguero, and percussionist Poncho Sanchez is among the most influential percussionists in jazz. For more than four decades, he’s stirred up a fiery stew of straight ahead jazz, gritty soul music, and infectious melodies and rhythms from a variety of Latin American and South American sources. Throughout his career, Sanchez has held aloft the torch lit by such innovators as Mongo Santamaria, Tito Puente and Cal Tjader, embraced by each of those icons and entrusted to carry forward the traditions of Latin Jazz.
