Cave Creek Museum and Kiwanis Family Fun Days present “Archeology Expo”
Cave Creek, Arizona – On Saturday, February 7, 2026, Cave Creek Museum will feature “Archeology Expo” from 10 AM- 2:00 PM. The museum will partner with several local groups for Archeology Day. Participants will learn how people survived in the desert: what they ate, how they built their houses, what they did. Children of all ages can etch a petroglyph, make a small pot and more. This is a free event thanks to the generous support of Kiwanis Club of Carefree. Registration is required. Visit cavecreekmuseum.org.
The 55-year-old museum’s mission is to preserve the artifacts of the prehistory, history, culture and legacy of the Cave Creek Mining District and the Cave Creek/Carefree foothills area through education, research and interpretive exhibits.
