Join Barry Corbin in Historic Tombstone, AZ, on October 21st for an entertaining show and Helldorado Days. This Emmy-nominated actor will enchant you with his wit and wisdom as he recalls 83 years of entertaining stories from his life and experiences in film, TV, and stage. The show’s second act will allow the audience to participate in a moderated Q & A. The next day, Barry will be riding in the famous Helldorado Days Parade.
Barry Corbin’s career has spanned more than six decades. A career that has seen him take more than two hundred roles onstage, on TV, and in the movies. He is often cast as an authority figure. He’s played fifteen sheriffs, several generals, a few wise uncles, a swaggering astronaut, and a hard-core basketball coach. Even when his characters are overbearing or murderous, Barry has always found a way to make them human and likable-so much so that he often steals the show, as he did portraying General Jack Beringer in “WarGames” and astronaut Maurice Minnifield in “Northern Exposure.” Known as a character actor, he always seems like he’s genuinely enduring whatever his character is while somehow remaining Barry Corbin. He is also best remembered for his roles in “Lonesome Dove” (Roscoe Brown), “Yellowstone” (Ross), “No Country for Old Men” (Ellis), “Urban Cowboy” (Uncle Bob) and in the Westerns “Crossfire Trail” and “Conagher” co-starring with Sam Elliott.
