In February, the Arizona Diaper Bank launches Love.Period, a month-long campaign dedicated to promoting menstrual equity and raising awareness about period poverty. We’re grateful for the collaboration with outstanding local businesses and organizations in Phoenix and Tucson that are hosting period product drives. Visit any of these locations to contribute and support the cause of ending period poverty.

The Arizona Diaper Bank is a participating charity for the WM Phoenix Open Birdies for Charity competition. You can make a pledge for each birdie made by the PGA players or make a single donation during the tournament. It is estimated that between 1,300 to 1,800 birdies will be made, so a 1-cent pledge will raise about $15 for the Arizona Diaper Bank. Visit www.birdiesforcharityaz.com to make your pledge. The Topgolf Charity Event, benefiting families in Central Arizona, gathers participants at Topgolf Scottsdale’s beautiful driving range for golf, brunch, drinks, and a fun silent auction and raffle on Sunday, March 24, 2024. This year’s goal is to raise $50,000, dedicated to supporting families in Central Arizona. The funds will facilitate the distribution of essential items, including diapers, adult incontinence supplies, baby wipes, and menstrual products. We are proud to collaborate with 17 established community partners to ensure these resources reach those in need. With your support, we aim to gather 120 participants for a day filled with camaraderie and impactful fundraising.
The Arizona Diaper Bank’s Phoenix location is the only diaper bank serving the entirety of Maricopa County and had distributed millions of diapers, incontinence supplies, baby wipes, and menstrual products since its inception. By working with 17 established community partners, the Arizona Diaper Bank ensures these essential hygiene supplies are not only getting into the hands of Arizona’s most at-risk families, but also ensures these families and individuals receive wrap-around services from credible community partners. In 2002 and 2023, the Arizona Diaper Bank provided 600,000 essential hygiene items to children and adults in Maricopa County. In Arizona, 1 in 2 families struggle to afford enough diapers to keep their children dry and healthy. Your participation will play a vital role in helping us achieve our mission to promote dignity through community partnerships by making diapers, period products, and incontinence supplies accessible.

Message from the CEODear Supporters and Friends,
I want to express my deepest gratitude to everyone who generously contributed their time, money, and direct donations at the end of 2023. Your support has been instrumental in making the Arizona Diaper Bank’s recent initiatives a success.
We concluded another impactful diaper drive in collaboration with KVOA Seasons 4 Hope, hosted a memorable community event for 1,000 guests during Saturday with Santa, and welcomed new members to our growing staff and board. The end-of-year momentum carried into 2024, thanks to community members like Dawn Mercaldo, who initiated a birthday fundraiser, raising an impressive $10,000 for the Arizona Diaper Bank. It is through the generosity of individuals like the Mercaldo’s that we can continue serving those in need and fostering meaningful partnerships.
In addition, we extend our heartfelt appreciation to Leslie Pike, Manager of Programs and Volunteerism, for her dedicated years of service to the Arizona Diaper Bank. Leslie has played a pivotal role in our organization, supporting our partners and clients with unwavering commitment and passion. As she embarks on her well-deserved retirement, we celebrate the progress achieved under her leadership and wish her the very best in this new chapter.
