49 Winchester New Somg & Tour

December 28, 2024 - June 21, 2025

49 Winchester released the new song “Miles to Go” today via New West Records. The previously unreleased song will be featured on the Yellowstone season finale this Sunday, December 15. Frontman Isaac Gibson said, “Sometimes a song just writes itself, and this was one of those songs. I wrote it between cities, somewhere on some distant stretch of interstate, in a matter of a couple of minutes. It’s a leaving song, which seems to have been a big theme on our new album. It was initially a part of Leavin’ This Holler, but it wound up being left off for the record to fit on vinyl.” He adds, “For me, there is no better way to debut it than in the season finale of Yellowstone. It’s always such an honor to have the art and sounds that you’ve created put on display in television and film, and Taylor Sheridan has given us, and so many other off-the-centerline country acts, a great platform to do that.”

49 Winchester also recently announced a partnership with New West to release their first three albums on vinyl for the first time on January 17, 2025. The band’s eponymous debut was originally released in 2014, The Wind was released in 2018, with III following in 2020. While III was originally available as an extremely limited-to-100 lathe cut LP upon its release, each title will be available commercially on vinyl for the first time and can be pre-ordered HERE.

49 Winchester released their highly anticipated Leavin’ This Holler earlier this year to critical acclaim. No Depression said “Leavin’ This Holler is a vital release, especially today. When it feels like we’re all just searching for a little light in the dark, 49 Winchester illuminates something akin to home” while Glide Magazine said “Leavin’ This Holler shows they have no intention of slowing down.” The album is the follow up to their New West debut Fortune Favors the Bold. Rolling Stone called them “Country Music’s Buzziest of Buzz Bands,” and also named it one of the “25 Best Country and Americana Albums of 2022.” Bandcamp named Fortune Favors the Bold one of the “Best Country Records of 2022,” as did No Depression, Holler, PopMatters, Whiskey Riff, WMOT, and more.

Hailed as a must-see live act, the band will appear at 2025’s Stagecoach Festival alongside Zach Bryan, Lana Del Rey, Sturgill Simpson, and more. Additionally, they will appear at the Country 2 Country UK Festival alongside Lainey Wilson, Wyatt Flores, and more that will bring the band to Berlin, Rotterdam, London, Belfast, and Glasgow. They have also been announced as support for The Mavericks & Dwight Yoakam spring tour launching March 27 in Kalamazoo, MI. Please see tour dates below.
