Ángela Aguilar Returns to US Stages with Stunning Shows

Grammy-nominated and 5x Latin Grammy-nominated artist Ángela Aguilar returned to the US stages for the first time in years as she delivered a string of dazzling performances this past weekend. Part of her headlining Libre Corazón Tour, Ángela kicked off the run with three explosive shows throughout Texas including Dallas, San Antonio and Houston closing out the first leg of the tour and will kick off the second run later this month on November 14th and will wrap December 13th – ticket info HERE and tour dates below.

The shows, promoted by Live Nation, brought her critically acclaimed new album Nadie Se Va Cómo Llegó to life for the first time but also saw Ángela perform some of her greatest hits from her entire career such as “Que Agonia,” “La Chancla,” and her beloved rendition of the Mexican classic song “La Llorona.” Ángela stunned with striking a slew of spectacular one-of-a-kind outfits made by her longtime costume designer, Enrique Samartin, and larger-than-life production that celebrated the richness of her Mexican roots – images below. The performances showcased Angela’s staggering talent front-and-center, proving she is an extraordinary force on stage and one of the premiere performers of her time.

Nadie Se Va Cómo Llegó captures Ángela like we’ve never seen or heard her before as she takes on the global stage with a bold renewed sense of self. The album signals a new era artistically and personally, one that sonically introduces modern new sounds to the rich Mariachi style that has raised her. It sees Ángela incorporating new sounds that most wouldn’t expect from the young singer such as cumbia, tumbado, pop and beyond, all brilliantly interwoven into a rich foundation of Mariachi music that will always remain essential to Ángela, keeping her Mexican heritage and the immense pride she has for her community front and center.
