On Sunday, April 13, 2025, at 2 PM, Cave Creek Museum’s Kiwanis Family Day will present Heroes Day!
According to Audra Botwin, Cave Creek Museum volunteer, Kiwanis Family Fun Day and Cave Creek Museum will welcome first responders from Daisy Mountain Fire and Rescue to talk about fire safety.
“Did you know that firefighters do more than just put out fires?” says Botwin. Come to the April Family Fun Day presentation known as Heroes Day and learn what being a firefighter is all about and safety tips to know in case of a fire. The first responders will bring a fire truck to the event (unless called to an emergency) that children can explore.”
Registration is required; visit cavecreekmuseum.org to sign up. The workshop is free thanks to the generous support of the Kiwanis Club of Carefree.
The 54-year-old museum’s mission is to preserve the artifacts of the prehistory, history, culture and legacy of the Cave Creek Mining District and the Cave Creek/Carefree foothills area through education, research and interpretive exhibits.
The Cave Creek Museum is located at 6140 E. Skyline Drive in Cave Creek, Ariz. Open October through May. The museum can be reached at 480.488.2764 or cavecreekmuseum.org. Where History Comes Alive.
