At the 10:00am service next Sunday, April 6, the choir will sing Duruflé’s beautiful and contemplative mass for lower voices and organ, Messe Cum Jubilo.
You can get a preview of the mass here.
The piece utilizes traditional plainchant melodies and the composer’s fluid and emotionally powerful improvisatory style.
The upper half of the choir will also present favorite French motets for high voices by Duruflé and Fauré.
Bring a friend to enjoy this beautiful offering.
