First Sunday Music at Saint Philip’s In the Hills

On January 5, the Monsoon Brass will present lively and seasonal works for brass sextet during the 10:00 am service at Saint Philip’s In the Hills. What better way to celebrate the joy of the season than with traditional Christmas carols, voluntaries, and anthems played by Tucson’s premier brass ensemble and the Holtkamp organ, marshaled by Dr. Jeffrey Campbell?

Saint Philip’s is privileged to collaborate regularly with the Monsoon Brass during feast-day services this year. This Christmastide service will feature the ensemble primarily, while our choirs take a much-needed break. You can hear how extraordinary this brass ensemble is here on YouTube.
