Kiwanis Family Fun Days to present “Wildlife Watchers” at Cave Creek Museum

Cave Creek, Arizona – On Saturday, January 17, 2026, from 10 AM-12 PM, Cave Creek Museum (CCM), in conjunction with the Desert Awareness Committee, will present Wildlife Watchers.

“How well do you know our desert wildlife? says Carol Ann Anderson, education chair for Cave Creek Museum. “Where do they live? Who hunts (predators) and who hides (prey)? Are they carnivores, herbivores or omnivores? How can you tell? Can you spot them just by their tracks, or maybe by their… scat?”

People curious about desert predators and prey, their habitats and more, must attend the fun, hands-on, interactive Wildlife Watchers adventure. Learn from Desert Awareness Committee and Southwest Wildlife Conservation Center experts as they guide you through the amazing world of desert creatures and learn and how they thrive and survive. The 55-year-old museum’s mission is to preserve the artifacts of the prehistory, history, culture and legacy of the Cave Creek Mining District and the Cave Creek/Carefree foothills area through education, research, and interpretive exhibits.
