Lajkonik Polish Folk Ensemble presents: Benefit Performance for Ana Belem Ceballos
Ana Belem Ceballos is a 24 year old UofA graduate who is very involved in her community and has danced with Lajkonik since 2016. She is an incredibly kind person who’s smile and soul lights up a room and fills your heart.
On 08/11/2021 an impaired driver ran a red light and hit her as she was on her way home from dinner, pushing her car more than 100ft knocking her unconscious. It’s so hard to see such a bright and beautiful spirit fighting for her life. Though the future is uncertain, she is strong and continues to show improvement. We will be having this fundraiser in her honor to help her family with her medical & other expenses. It will be a lovely evening filled with a selection of Ana’s favorite dances performed by Lajkonik, as well as beautiful music performed by local musicians and amazing prizes available through a raffle! We would appreciate everyone who shows up to donate! All proceeds go to Ana and her family.
