The highly anticipated Oro Valley Spring Arts & Music Festival is back, transforming the scenic Oro Valley Marketplace into a vibrant hub of artistic expression, live performances, and immersive experiences for all ages. Presented by the Town of Oro Valley and produced by the Southern Arizona Arts & Cultural Alliance (SAACA), this two-day celebration will take place Saturday & Sunday, March 8 & 9, 2025, bringing together a spectacular mix of fine art, music, interactive activities, and wellness offerings in a festival atmosphere like no other.
The Art of the Outdoors:
Plein Air Painting Competition with $2,000 in Cash Prizes!
One of the most exciting highlights of this year’s festival is the Plein Air Painting Competition, inviting artists to capture the breathtaking Sonoran Desert landscape and the energy of the festival in real-time. With over 30 painters and $2,000 in cash prizes on the line, spectators can watch masterful artists bring the beauty of the outdoors to life, stroke by stroke. Whether you’re an art enthusiast or a casual observer, witnessing these incredible works take shape under the open sky is a rare and mesmerizing experience.
140+ Handmade Artisans & Live Demonstrations
From intricate jewelry and bold ceramics to stunning photography and handwoven textiles, over 140 regional artisans will showcase their original, handcrafted works. Watch creativity in action through live art demonstrations, where skilled makers reveal the secrets behind their craft, offering a deeper appreciation of the artistry behind every piece.
