Red Herring Puppets announces PUPPET CAMP 2022
Mon-Fri July 25-29, 1:00 – 5:00 pm
Ages 8 – Adult
Build your own puppets and put on a show!
For one glorious week this Summer, participants create a hand puppet, shadow puppet, and simple marionette. We work with clay, papier-mâché, wood, fabric, foam and paint. We create puppet characters and scripts and practice manipulation and choreography. Participants perform to an original soundtrack with their recorded voices, music and sound effects. Friends and family are invited to the final performance.
Renowned Puppetmaster, Lisa Sturz, has worked with Jim Henson Productions, Walt Disney Imagineering, Lucasfilm, PBS, and many more. She is assisted by actress, dancer, puppeteer Katie Popiel.
Registration $150 includes all the supplies
