CALL FOR QUILTERS – COMMUNITY QUILT CELEBRATING THE TOWN OF ORO VALLEY’S 50TH ANNIVERSARY – ROCHE TISSUE DIAGNOSTICS DONATION
Deadline to Apply – June 12, 2024. Roche Tissue Diagnostics (RTD) and Southern Arizona Arts and Cultural Alliance (SAACA) are thrilled to announce an exciting opportunity for quilters. To celebrate the Town of Oro Valley’s 50th Anniversary, we are seeking quilters of all skill levels to create a 12 x 12 inch (12.5 inch unfinished for seam allowance) quilt block that highlights the beauty and diversity of our local flora and fauna. We welcome your interpretation of the region’s native wildlife, vibrant plant life, and breathtaking landscapes. Quilters are invited to submit 5 images of past work samples and select their visual preference for this community project. CALL TO ARTISTS: 2024 BICAS ANNUAL ART AUCTION, T-SHIRT AND POSTER CONTEST
Deadline for Submission: July 1, 2024. The BICAS 2024 Annual Art Auction T-Shirt and Poster will be selected from designs submitted by artists in the community. All proceeds go towards the nonprofit mission to promote accessibility to bicycle transportation and the arts in Tucson. The winning artist will be credited on the inside tag of the T-shirt alongside washing instructions, in captions alongside the poster, and in an interview spotlight on the BICAS social media.
