Snoop Dogg Arizona Bowl 2025

December 27, 2025 @ 2:30 pm - 7:00 pm MST

TUCSON, Ariz. – Following their exciting fall seasons, the Bulldogs of Fresno State University and the RedHawks of Miami (OH) University have been invited to play at the Snoop Dogg Arizona Bowl Presented by Gin & Juice by Dre and Snoop on December 27 at 2:30 MST pm at Arizona Stadium.

The invitations were personally extended to Bulldogs Coach Matt Entz and RedHawks Coach Chuck Martin this weekend.

Arizona Bowl Executive Director Kym Adair is thrilled to be welcoming these two dynamic programs to Tucson on the heels of their regular seasons.

“Both the Fresno State and Miami football programs are known to be fan-fueled, and we look forward to welcoming their alumni and broad fan bases to Tucson with our signature Sonoran warmth and hospitality,” said Adair. “When coupled with the Southern Arizona community’s strong support of our game and associated bowl events, this promises to be an epic showdown in the desert on December 27, which is all done to support the community, veterans, first responders, teachers, and local charities.”

The RedHawks become just the second team in Arizona Bowl history to make back-to-back appearances, coming off a dominant win versus Colorado State in 2024. The RedHawks have competed in five straight bowl games and are bowl-eligible for the ninth time in the past 10 seasons.

Miami football ranks first all-time in the Mid-American Conference in wins (740), conference wins (329), MAC Championships (17) and bowl wins (9). Historically, Miami’s 740 career wins are third all-time among Group-of-Five programs, behind just Navy (756) and Army (745). Miami was 4-14 in Coach Martin’s first 18 Mid-American Conference games. Since then, the RedHawks are 55-21 in their last 76 games versus schools from the MAC, the best in the conference during that span.

Miami is the first MAC program to play for a conference title three-straight years since Northern Illinois did so from 2010-15. Under Coach Martin, the RedHawks are 2-1 in MAC title games, capturing wins in 2019 and 2023, but dropped last season’s contest.

“I want to thank the Arizona Bowl for welcoming us back and look forward to competing against a strong program in Fresno State,” stated RedHawks Coach Chuck Martin. “The Arizona Bowl is the perfect way to celebrate everything we have accomplished in 2025,” he concluded.

The Bulldogs are bowl eligible for the fifth season in a row. Head coach Matt Entz is the fifth first-year head coach to lead the Bulldogs to a bowl game in their inaugural season at the helm.

The Bulldogs come to Tucson with a regular season record of 8-4, hanging their hat on a masterful defense. Fresno State held its opponents to 293.5 yards per game; its fewest in a season since at least 1992. The Bulldogs placed eight players on the Mountain West All-Conference team, including Rayshon “Speedy” Luke, who is a product of the Snoop Youth Football League. Luke also played three seasons in Tucson as part of the Arizona Wildcats.

“We are excited to accept our invitation to the Arizona Bowl and continue our season in Tucson with this 2025 football team,” stated Bulldogs coach Matt Entz. “Our staff and players look forward to embracing the bowl experience while also preparing to face a talented team in the RedHawks. This is another great opportunity for Fresno State to play in front of a national audience and represent the Valley one more time this season,” he concluded.

Bulldogs and RedHawks fans will have the opportunity to experience Tucson’s hospitality beginning on December 26 at 5:00 pm MST at the Downtown Pep Rally, presented by Visit Tucson, at 5th and Toole Avenues. The event will feature both football programs’ bands, cheerleaders, and mascots in a friendly rivalry. The event will be emceed by national broadcaster Thom Brenneman.

On December 27, the gameday schedule starts at 10:30 am MST on the University of Arizona Mall with the Tailgate Festival. The event will include food and beer vendors, with plenty of Gin & Juice, a ready-to-drink canned cocktail in four refreshing flavors, cornhole, alumni parties, a stage with DJ entertainment, a Battle of the Bands competition between both teams’ marching bands, and a Gin & Juice House, featuring an appearance by Snoop Dogg, with hip-hop vibes.

The Heroes Tribute Pre-Game Show inside Arizona Stadium will commence at 2:00 pm MST as A-10 jets from Davis Monthan Air Force Base fly overhead and the legendary Wings of Blue skydivers descend into Arizona Stadium to honor the men and women who serve on our behalf.

Snoop Dogg himself will be visible throughout the tailgate and the game, including at the coin toss, in the TV broadcast booth, and a few special activities that fans at the game will get to witness.

The celebrations will continue December 31 at the Taco Bell New Year’s Eve Downtown Bowl Bash, Tucson’s take on Times Square, beginning at 6:00 pm MST at Jacome Plaza near the intersection of Church Avenue and Pennington Street. Live music will be performed throughout the evening, with a special performance by the Lucky Devils Band. The Bash-worthy lineup will also include a Silent Disco presented by Tucson Federal Credit Union, food trucks and beer stations, and the world-renowned taco drop at midnight followed by a spectacular firework show presented by O’Rielly Chevrolet.
