The Southern Arizona Volunteer Management Association will host a volunteer fair at the Reid Park Zoo on Thursday, September 16th from 4:30-7pm.
Tucson, Ariz.: Members of the public are invited to attend the 2021 annual SAVMA Volunteer & Recognition Fair on Thursday, September 16th from 4:30-7pm at the Reid Park Zoo. Representatives from local nonprofit organizations will be available to introduce potential volunteers to their important causes. All attendees will have the opportunity to explore the zoo while learning about ways they can support their community. Food and drinks will be available for purchase. Guests to this family-friendly night at the zoo will also enjoy music, raffle prizes, and more. Entrance to the event is free, and includes animal encounters and carousel rides.
Current volunteers are also encouraged to attend as a “thank you” from the Southern Arizona nonprofit community. Organizations represented at the event will include Interfaith Community Services, Big Brothers Big Sisters, Easterseals Blake Foundation, CASA of Pima County, Literacy Connects, Youth on their Own, Lutheran Social Services of the Southwest and many more.
