11th Annual Power of the Purse hybrid conference features a keynote and expert panel discussion highlighting “Women in Journalism” on March 3, 5:00 to 7:30 p.m., from the Desert Botanical Garden, in Phoenix.
“This year’s conference theme highlights women as powerhouses, driving economic growth for our families, communities and the state of Arizona,” notes Mónica Villalobos, President and CEO of the Arizona Hispanic Chamber of Commerce. “From the halls of government to our state’s largest corporate board rooms, to stages and virtual venues all over the country women are leading the way. The Arizona Hispanic Chamber of Commerce is delighted to host this annual gathering, celebrating the success of our women business owners, and providing them with the tools for growth.”
According to the Arizona Hispanic Chamber’s latest annual DATOS report, Arizona is home to an estimated 123,000 Hispanic-owned business, a majority of which, about 66%, are owned by Latinas.
