“Showtime” – An evening dedicated to great movie and Broadway classics feat. our esteemed orchestra with vocalists Tyler Wright, and Erin Anderson as well as talents from The Circus Academy of Tucson. Music Under the Stars™ returns on September 22 with its first of three outstanding concerts performed by the Tucson Pops Orchestra under the direction of Maestro Khris Dodge at the DeMeester Outdoor Auditorium at Reid Park.

Tucson’s legendary Pops Orchestra has performed concerts in the park for 69 seasons, bringing together thousands of attendees – families, friends, music lovers from all over the city. All performances are free with support from from sponsors and “Friends of the Pops” at each concert. This support is essential in helping to continue the Pops mission of allowing everyone in the community to experience the magic of live music performed by professional musicians.

Tucson Pops concerts take place on Sunday evenings at 7pm.

This season showcases Tucson’s incredible wealth of world class talent, performing with the Tucson Pops. Conductor and Artistic Director Khris Dodge works year-round to create exciting concerts that have broad appeal. “I love how music brings people together. Each concert features a beer garden and a wide selection of dining opportunities from the Food Truck Roundup. As always, guests are encouraged to bring their own picnic set up, relax and enjoy three beautiful evenings of outstanding Music Under the Stars™.
