Vybz Kartel Tour (Wireless recap) & Travis Scott feature

July 18, 2025 - September 19, 2025

The King of Dancehall continues to move like royalty. Vybz Kartel’s Worl’ Boss Summer 2025 Tour has become one of the genre’s most dominant and historic tour runs all time, selling out arenas across Europe, creating viral moments, and landing the iconic artist on the world’s most prestigious stages alongside some of the most influential names in global music.

After shutting down Cologne‘s Summerjam Festival and 20,000+ capacity shows in Amsterdam’s Ziggo Dome and Paris’s Accor Arena, Kartel delivered a scene-stealing performance at London’s Wireless Festival this past Sunday, and the moment is still reverberating around the world.

The Jamaican icon’s set became an all-star celebration of diasporic sound and culture. He brought out Ghanaian rising star Moliy, whose smash “Shake It To The Max” is currently sitting at #46 on the U.S. Billboard Hot 100 charts, and together they debuted a never-before-heard remix of the hit with UK rap heavyweight Stefflon Don. The high-energy collaboration marked a cross-continental fusion of African, Caribbean, and British musical forces—and the crowd went wild. Kartel then turned to the classics, delivering an explosive performance of his style anthem “Clarks” alongside longtime collaborator and dancehall star Popcaan. But the night wasn’t over. In a moment that capped off the entire Wireless weekend, Drakebrought Kartel back on stage during his third and final headlining set, closing out the festival with Kartel, Popcaan, and Central Cee. The crowd—already hyped—erupted as four global icons shared the stage for one unforgettable finale.

Elsewhere, Kartel continues to break new ground in the studio. He appears on Travis Scott’s blockbuster new album Jackboys 2, lending his unmistakable voice to the standout trackPBT featuring Grammy winner Tyla—a genre-bending anthem already gaining major traction across streaming platforms. It’s a career milestone that marks another step forward for Jamaican dancehall’s global ascent.

And the Worl’ Boss isn’t slowing down. Vybz Kartel returns to U.S. on July 26 inBaltimore, MD and to Brooklyn’s Barclays Center on August  29, following two previous sold‑out nights at the venue earlier this year. His next stop is Montego Bay’s Reggae  Sumfest on July 18—the island’s largest annual music festival—where he will be formally crowned the King of Dancehall. Kartel heads back across the Atlantic for back‑to‑back arena takeovers at London’s The O2 on September 4 and 5, then carries the Caribbean heat to the Mediterranean for a 2-day headlining set at Malta’s Freedom Street Europe Festival. The upcoming shows promise more surprises, special guests, and new music.

“This summer me nah play wid it. Wireless shell, Barclays again, and back in my yard for Sumfest—crown and all. Then it’s straight back to the UK, Malta, all a dem. The Worl’ Boss tour bigger than music—it’s for the culture,” says Vybz Kartel.
