The Ranching Heritage Festival is right around the corner: June 9 & 10 in Historic Willcox!
Celebrating over 150 years of ranching in southern Arizona, the Ranching Heritage Festival is family fun and great for those interested in the lifestyle of the working cowboy.
The Festival features many great events:
Friday, Jun 9 @ 5pm: A Panel Discussion of Cowboy Hall of Fame members (followed by a Steak Dinner in Railroad Park and a Street Dance.)
Saturday, Jun 10 @10am – 5pm: A great day of activities includes a Round Pen to discuss livestock (right in the middle of downtown Willcox!), an “Animal Alley” showcasing various cattle breeds that have been important to ranching, demonstrations of ranching related skills (forging, rope-making, horsemanship, horseshoeing), and virtual reality experiences of ranching. There is live entertainment throughout the day and the evening will end with another street dance.
