Upcoming Summer blockbuster 3D films in June

Several major 3D blockbuster films are planned for release almost every month this year. This summer movie season is no different. The bulk of the big blockbuster 3D will be released this month and July.

3D movies were among the top grossing films in 2009. 3D movies may be the key to revive the slumping june.html movie industry. See the schedule of new 3D movies in 2010, watch movie trailers and read studio production notes.

Additional titles on Warner Bros. Pictures' 2010 film slate that will be released in 3D (in addition to the standard 2D format) include "Cats & Dogs: The Revenge of Kitty Galore" (July), "Guardians of Ga'Hoole" (September) and "Harry Potter and Deathly Hallows, Part 1" (November).

Splice Superstar genetic engineers Clive (Adrien Brody) and Elsa (Sarah Polley) specialize in splicing DNA from different animals to create incredible new hybrids. Now they want to use human DNA in a hybrid that could revolutionize science and medicine. But when the pharmaceutical company that funds their research forbids it, Clive and Elsa secretly take their boldest experimentation underground--risking their careers by pushing the boundaries of science to serve their own curiosity and ambition. The Karate Kid. 12-year-old Dre Parker (Jaden Smith) could've been the most popular kid in Detroit, but his mother's (Taraji P. Henson) latest career move has landed him in China. Dre immediately falls for his classmate Mei Ying—and the feeling is mutual—but cultural differences make such a friendship impossible. This remake of the Karate Kid got off to a rocky start when fans heard the movie would be titled The Kung Fu Kid. Also stars Jackie Chan. Sony Pictures.

Winter's Bone Jennifer LawrenceWinter's Bone is based on the novel by Daniel Woodrell. An unflinching Ozark Mountain girl hacks through dangerous social terrain as she hunts down her drug-dealing father while trying to keep her family intact. It is the story of 17 year-old Ree Dolly (Jennifer Lawrence) who tries to track down her father, who put their house up for his bail bond and then disappeared. WINTER'S BONE film is directed by Debra Granik (DOWN TO THE BONE). The film stars Jennifer Lawrence, John Hawkes, Kevin Breznahan, Dale Dickey, Garret Dillahunt, Sheryl Lee and Tate Taylor. Coco Chanel & Igor Stravinski. Paris 1913. Coco Chanel is infatuated with the rich and handsome Boy Capel, but she is also compelled by her work. Sony Pictures Classics. Rated R. Opens June 11, 2010 in New York and Los Angeles, then expands nationwide.

The A-Team decends from TV heaven with Quinton "Rampage" Jackson, the Ultimate Fighting Champion, stars as B.A. Baracis. Bradley Cooper, Liam Neeson and Sharlito Copley from "District 9" make up this A-Team squad.

Toy Story 3D in 3D returns. The film reunites the original Toy Story stars Tom Hanks as Woody and Tim Allen as Buzz Lightyear. The comically-mismatched duo eventually learn to put aside their differences when circumstances separate them from their owner Andy and they find themselves on a hilarious adventure-filled mission where the only way they can survive is to form an uneasy alliance. Jonah Hex, a sci-fi action thriller from Warner Bros. Pictures.

A man fated to wander alone, his sole human connection is with Lilah (Megan Fox), whose life in a brothel has left her with scars of her own.
