The buzz word for this year is "sequel." Be prepared to see the continuation of several movies that left off over the last few years- The Chronicles of Narnia, Shrek in 3D and Sex and the City 2 are among this month's sequels. The next wave of technology to hit home entertainment is 3D. Many of the newly released movies this year will soon be released in both 3D and the standard 2D version.  The Chronicles of Narnia: The Voyage of the Dawn Treader. This film stars Ben Barnes and Georgie Henley. The film may be delayed because of the Walt Disney Co. withdrawl from the project at the end of 2008. Disney cancelled its involvement because of "budgetary considerations and other logistics." The price tag is estimated at $200 million to produce, not including marketing costs. The previous "Chronicles of Narnia: Prince Caspian" brought in just $419 million world-wide. The first film, "The Chronicles of Narnia: The Lion, the Witch and the Wardrobe" grossed $745 million worldwide in 2005. |  Iron Man 2 reunites Robert Downey, Jr. and Gwyneth Paltrow.
