Jesse Lugo, Ward 5 City Council Candidate, will engage with the public at a Meet & Greet on Monday, March 31, 2025, 5:30pm at Union Public House patio in St. Philip’s Plaza 4340 N. Campbell Avenue in Tucson. The event begins at 5:30pm and continues under the stars as candidate Jesse Lugo meets guests and details his campaign platform. Speakers at the event: Former retired Tucson Police Officer, South Tucson Police Chief and Town Manager Sixto Molina, retired Pima County Recorder F. Ann Rodriguez, and retired Fire Paramedic Fred Fitzpatrick.
A lifelong Tucsonan, Jesse and his wife Carol have been married 47 years. Jesse grew up in Barrio Hollywood and has lived in Julia Keen neighborhood for 50 years. Lugo has been engaged in public service for decades, as a small business owner for fifty years and member of the Tucson City Transportation Commission for over a decade. A previous candidate for city council, Lugo brings a wealth of community knowledge and leadership to the race.
Jesse Lugo’s campaign platform includes setting priorities on core services including quality police protection, garbage picked up on time, clean safe water, transportation alternatives, safe roads, clean parks and a fire department that responds quickly to emergencies
