Cox Communications is bringing back Movies in the Park to Tucson and the fun begins Friday June 13 with “Wicked” at Reid Park. Open to all, enjoy a movie under the stars free of charge. Pre-screening activities and entertainment will begin at 6 p.m. for attendees to enjoy before the movie starts at 7:45 p.m. (dusk). The pre-movie festivities for the Wicked showing include food trucks, a costume contest, dance party, bubbles and lots of swag for the crowd including friendship bracelets, rhythmic gymnastics sticks and other fun, free items.
A second, family-friendly movie, Inside Out 2, will be shown on June 27.
