SAACA & LA ENCANTADA TEAM UP TO PRESENT FREE LIVE JAZZ MUSIC CONCERTS
La Encantada and the Southern Arizona Arts and Cultural Alliance have teamed up to present the Summer Jazz Concert Series in the serene garden of the shopping center every third Thursday of the month. All concerts are free admission and take place in the lower-level courtyard. Attendees must bring their own chairs. While enjoying live jazz music, grab a to-go meal from one of the La Encantada restaurants!

Joe Bourne and Friends
An award-winning vocalist, Joe Bourne is well known in European circles for what he has achieved in the popular, light music genre. The roots of this talented singer / entertainer are anchored deeply in Jazz, blues and spiritual music. Born in Cambridge, Massachusetts, Bourne was inspired by many of the big names of Jazz that toured the Boston area and luminaries such as Lou Rawls, Billy Eckstine, Arthur Prysock, and Nat King Cole. Los Gatos Locos featuring Lexa Raquel
Singer-songwriter and musician, Lexa Raquel is reemerging into the Tucson music scene to release her very first album as an independent artist. Growing up, Lexa was exposed to a variety of rock ‘n’ roll, funk and everything in between and has recently discovered a passion for jazz. These influences will be heard throughout the album in hopes to have you reminiscing.
Backing up Lexa is an all-star ensemble featuring:
Richard Katz, Keys; Marshall Jones, Guitar; Rob Paulus, Bass; Pete Swan, Percussion.
All ensemble musicians are top call players in Tucson and members and or leaders of such groups as: Zona Libra, Indigo Social Club, Connie Brannock, the Pete Swan big band and many more.
