Tucson Mardi Gras 2023

March 11, 2023 @ 10:00 am - March 12, 2023 @ 6:30 pm MST

Tucson Mardi Gras 2023 – 2 days of Cajun good times!

The Biggest Mardi Gras Celebration in Arizona! 1102 W. Grant Road
(Tucson, AZ) The creative minds behind The Slaughterhouse, who’s roots are from the Louisiana Bayou, have decided to bring some of the fun & crazy traditions of Mardi Gras from the Big Easy to the Old Pueblo.

Tucson Mardi Gras will be hosting its 3rd annual Mardi Gras Festival on Saturday, March 11, 2023 and Family Festival Day* on Sunday, March 12, 2023!

The Mardi Gras festivities** will be open Saturday, March 11, from 11:00 a.m. to 6:30 p.m. and Sunday, March 12, from 12:00 noon to 6:30 p.m. Both celebration days are free to the public – that’s right, no entry fee required! There will be authentic cajun food, specialty drinks, themed live music, parades, a Bourbon Street Balcony Experience*** and more!

“Due to actual Mardi Gras falling so early in February for 2023, we made the decision to move this event to March, plus we know Tucsonans don’t like to be outside when it’s cold – so we will be celebrating when it’s a little warmer and the crawfish are bigger!” Says Bobby Sutton, Creator of the Tucson Mardi Gras.

Throughout the days, different experiences will be available. Live Cajun and Zydeco Music, Axe Throwing, a New Orleans Mausoleum Tour, themed vendors and parades that resemble those that take to the streets of New Orleans, and that’s just to name a few.
The team behind Tucson Mardi Gras wants to invite everyone in our great city of Tucson to come out and experience a little bit of what NOLA and the real Mardi Gras has to offer! Proceeds from the event benefit Tucson local charities and First Responders.

*Saturday’s Festival is suggested for ages 18 & up, but kids are allowed with parental discretion – Sunday’s Family Festival Day is more family oriented with more kid-friendly activities available i.e. jumping castles, inflatables and face painting – additional fees for activities required.

**This event is 100% No-Scare – haunted houses will not be open in any capacity.

***If event capacity is reached, upgrade ticket holders and Guaranteed Entry ticket holders will be given priority entrance – to guarantee entry, please pre-purchase any available ticket option.
