“ReFresh the Rainbow Crossing” Paint Party.
It’s time to refresh the Rainbow Crossing near the Bell Tower in front of Cathedral City’s City Hall in preparation for Cathedral City LGBT Days. The City is hosting a Paint Party this Saturday and would like to invite all media to attend. As California’s first Pride event of the year, the 7th annual Cathedral City LGBT Days brings together numerous LGBT celebrities, artists, media, community leaders, Coachella Valley residents, and visitors for an unforgettable weekend of live entertainment, community engagement, and fun activities from March 3-5, 2023.
WHO:
Members of the Public Arts Commission are available for interviews, as well as city staff and leadership helping to plan this year’s Cathedral City LGBT Days. LGBT Days is produced by Soundskilz Productions, a national entertainment production agency with offices in Temecula, CA; San Antonio, TX; Park City, UT; and Atlanta, GA.

Saturday, February 18, 2023. Painting starts at 9:00AM and runs until about noon.

The Rainbow Crossing is located near the Bell Tower in front of City Hall, 68700 Avenida Lalo Guerrero, Cathedral City, CA 92234.

As California’s first Pride event of the year, the 7th annual Cathedral City LGBT Daysbrings together numerous LGBTQ+ celebrities, artists, performers, media, community leaders, Coachella Valley residents, and visitors for an unforgettable weekend of live entertainment, community engagement, and fun activities from March 3-5, 2023. Events feature an official Pride flag raising and lighting of City Hall; a screening of THE ADVENTURES OF PRISCILLA, QUEEN OF THE DESERT; a drone show; a pool party; “Remembering Leslie Jordan: a Sordid Lives/Southern Baptist Sissies Tribute,” hosted by Del Shores with special guests; and the annual Bed Race and Parade of Beds, followed by the Sunday Funday T Dance, hosted by the famous Abbey West Hollywood; and more.
