“Snoop Dogg in the building, yes, y’all!” Multi-platinum hip-hop artist, actor, and entertainment icon Snoop Dogg makes a stop in Phoenix in support of his new album From Tha Streets 2 Tha Suites. The D. O. Double Gee himself picks up the mic, sings and spins all his hits along with some hot tracks from the new album like, “C.E.O.”
Having sold over 30 million albums worldwide, Snoop has received multiple Grammy nominations, helping to define the genre of hip-hop as we know it while releasing stand out hit singles such as “Gin & Juice,” “Who Am I?,” “Nuthin But a ‘G’ Thang,” “Sensual Seduction” and “Drop It Like It’s Hot.” Releasing twelve albums since 1993, Snoop broke chart records with the seminal hip-hop record Doggystyle (produced by Dr. Dre), which debuted at No 1 on the Billboard 100, selling almost a million copies in the first week of its release. His second album, Tha Doggfather (1996), also deputed at number one.
Closing on in 50, Snoop has remained at the forefront of popular culture for decades, thanks to the release of award-winning albums, anthemic singles, digital ventures, lifestyle products, stellar performances in film and as host of several television shows.
In March 2016, he was inducted into the celebrity wing of the WWE Hall of Fame. And in 2019, Snoop was given a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame.
