Big League Productions, Inc. Announces the 2023-2024 National Tour of THE CHER SHOW

A sparkling, brand-new production of the Tony Award-winning musical will hit the road as Big League Productions, Inc. rolls out the 2023-2024 National Tour of THE CHER SHOW. Having only been seen in the USA on Broadway and in limited regionals, THE CHER SHOW will be a premiere engagement in all markets. Featuring Bob Mackie’s spectacular Tony Award-winning costumes, the meticulously crafted, all-new production will bring the legendary stardom of Cher across the country beginning in November 2023.

Superstars come and go. Cher is forever. For six straight decades, one unstoppable force has dominated popular culture – breaking down barriers, pushing boundaries, and letting nothing and no one stand in her way. THE CHER SHOW is the Tony Award-winning musical depiction of her story, and it’s packed with so much Cher that it takes three women to play her: the bright-eyed kid starting out, the glam pop star, and the icon.

THE CHER SHOW has 35 smash hits, six decades of stardom, two rock-star husbands, a Grammy, an Oscar, an Emmy, and enough Tony Award-winning Bob Mackie gowns to cause a sequin shortage in New York City, all in one unabashedly fabulous new musical that will have audiences dancing in the aisles!

The 2023-2024 National Tour of THE CHER SHOW is directed by Casey Hushion, with choreography byAntoinette DiPietropolo, costume design by Bob Mackie, and scenic design by Kelly James Tighe. Lighting design is by Charlie Morrison, with sound design by Daniel Lundberg, video design by Jonathan Infante, music supervision by Kristin Stowell, and casting by Alison Franck. Daniel Sher is the executive producer.

BIG LEAGUE PRODUCTIONS (Producer) is celebrating its 30th season of producing and general managing Broadway tours of shows and attractions throughout the world. Early highlights were collaborations with Disney on Elton John and Tim Rice’s Aida (North SA tours, Grand Ole Opry, and Madison Square Garden), Dreamgirls (US, China premiere, Japan), Hair (US and Japan), Bring it On (US and Japan), and Legally Blonde (US, China premiere, Singapore). More recently, A Chorus Line toured the USA, Japan and was seen in China for the first time. Post-pandemic, Big League remounted its acclaimed tour of An American in Paris, a new production ofSouth Pacific, Legally Blonde, and continued touring its flagship production of A Christmas Story The Musical. Current and future work includes The Cher Show (first national tour), Little Women, A Christmas Story at the Ahmanson Theater, and The Addams Family.
