Blessing of the Animals service at Saint Philip’s Church in 1979. Saint Philip’s Church is excited to invite you to its 2nd annual Animal Faire on Saturday, October 7 at 8:30am. The Blessing of the Animals worship service will begin outside near the pet memorial and move inside the church. (Stuffed animals will be available for children who would like to participate but don’t have a pet.)
From 9:00am-3:00pm, enjoy a day filled with animal exhibits and demonstrations, music for all ages, vendors with special animal-focused items, and lots of delicious food and treats! At 1:15pm visit Luca from the Arizona Sonora Desert Museum.Enjoy face painting by Maggie Christy throughout the day. Southern Arizona Reptile Rescue & Education— Tucson’s only Licensed Reptile Rescue— will have a variety of animals on site. At 12:20pm learn about The Human-Animal Connection which brings people and animals together for the healing of both. At 9:30am Mr Nature will offer an interactive musical adventure for children, the young at heart, and all abilities.
