Indigenous basket weavers from around the Southwest will convene at the Arizona State Museum (ASM) on March 23, where their creations will be showcased. The event is planned as a launch for the book, Woven from the Center: Native Basketry in the Southwest, by ASM Associate Curator Diane Dittemore, and published by the University of Arizona Press. Many of the visiting weavers are featured in Dittemore’s book. Among those expected are:

The event will be held on the lawn in front of the museum, from 10:00 a.m.–2:00 p.m. Museum
