Cave Creek Museum will host the 14th annual Miners’ Dinner on Tuesday, March 19, 2024 from 4-8 PM. The event, a major fundraiser for the museum, honors the museum’s past and exciting future plans. Along with dinner, the museum will host a silent auction and local entertainment. The cost is $100 per person and reservations must be made by March 18, 2024. The Public invited for demonstrations, dinner and entertainment.
“It’s time to commemorate the hard work and passion that makes this one of the Cave Creek Museum’s finest seasons,” says Evelyn Johnson, Cave Creek Museum executive director.
Guests arrive at 4:00 PM to check in and socialize. Guests will enjoy local favorite Kevin Causey, the featured musician who also will serve as the Master of Ceremony.
The evening will feature:
• Al fresco dining: A delightful outdoor dining experience with a new menu and caterer
• Signature cocktails: Sip handcrafted cocktails
• Silent auction: Guests can explore an enticing array of items, including fine art, jewelry and special trips, all up for bid
• Running of the Golden Reef Stamp Mill, blacksmithing demonstration, panning for gold
• Lance Headlee, a noted local artist, will create a live painting during the event, which will be included in the silent auction
• Tanya Kern, a skilled instructor, will lead line dancing, adding a fun twist to the evening
Dinner and raffle tickets can be purchased online at cavecreekmuseum.org, at the museum, or by mailing a check to the museum at 6140 E. Skyline Drive in Cave Creek, Ariz., 85331. Seating is limited to 150 so reserve early. Please note that no culture passes will be accepted for this special event.
The 53-year-old museum’s mission is to preserve the artifacts of the prehistory, history, culture and legacy of the Cave Creek Mining District and the Cave Creek/Carefree foothills area through education, research, and interpretive exhibits.
