GOING IT ALONE is a collection of monologues by local playwrights celebrating the unique challenge of writing for a solo performer and performing solo. Solo performance is a unique experience for the actor, the playwright and the audience. Actors take the stage alone and must singularly engage the audience. For the playwright, the challenge is in creating a fully realized rich narrative within the confines of a short monologue. This monologue series was produced last year under the name FLYING SOLO by Susan Frank and Rob Zonfrelli.
