28th Annual DATOS: The State of Arizona’s Hispanic Market on Thursday, September 26, 2024. For over 27 years, the Arizona Hispanic Chamber of Commerce (AZHCC) has published DATOS: The State of Arizona’s Hispanic Market, the most comprehensive compilation of research on the impact of Hispanics in the Arizona marketplace.
As part of our partnership with Vitalyst Health Foundation, DATOS is a dynamic framework that explores data on Arizona Hispanics in relation to the social determinants of public health including but not limited to, education, economic opportunity, and healthcare. There are 12 elements of a healthy community, and every year we select one for an in-dept perspective. This year, in addition to sharing data on the Hispanic population and businesses, we will highlight the topic of Quality Affordable Food.
Among the findings in this year’s report:
Between 2020 and 2022, Arizona had the 29th highest food insecurity rate (10.2%) in the nation. Source: U.S. Department of Agriculture
These findings and more will be published in the 2024 DATOS: The State of Arizona’s Hispanic Market report. DATOS provides a comprehensive overview by subject matter experts and we are excited to announce this year’s Panelist in addition to our Keynote Speaker, Barbie Izquierdo.
