Learn traditional Tohono O’odham basket weaving this fall
We’re partnering with the College of Social and Behavioral Sciences at UArizona on the Fall 2021 Community Classroom series. The series kicks off with Huata Ma:cig, traditional Tohono O’odham basket weaving knowledge with Regina and Megan Siquieros. We are excited to offer this unique opportunity to the public and highlight the invaluable work of these respected Tohono O’odham tradition bearers. The two hour sessions take place on Saturday mornings from 10am-Noon at Mission Garden September 18, 25, & October 2. This in-person course is limited to 20 people, so register today!
