ILLUMINATE is thrilled to announce that next year’s festival will take place in-person in Santa Barbara, May 1 – 4, and online globally, May 5 – 11.
Building on our successful move to California last year, our 2025 festival promises to be another uplifting and transformative gathering, bringing together visionary filmmakers, thought leaders, artists, activists, and solutionaries to celebrate cinema that elevates humanity’s consciousness and positively impacts our world.

We’re delighted that our main screening venue this year will be the elegant New Vic Theater in Santa Barbara’s historic Arts District. ILLUMINATE will host its annual Industry Convergence Day on May 1st from 10am to 4pm prior to the festival’s official opening night program.
