That means fewer food vendors, ample space for safe-distance dining, rope walkways in the event of wait-lines for food vendors, reserved parking for food take-out only, sanitizing stations and free masks, staff dedicated solely to sanitizing bathrooms, social distance signage, website preview of menus and performers so attendees can plan their visit and limit their time at the event, and two performance stages with distanced seating/standing room. We will request that all festival attendees wear masks and strongly encourage everyone to be vaccinated. In addition to our 15-point Covid protocols, we are excited to announce that we will have a Pima County-run vaccination site at the festival!
Rooted in local communities with an international reach, this one-night event features some of the region’s most celebrated ethnic and traditional dance companies, many of whom have performed at Tucson Meet Yourself.
Los Changuitos Feos are one of Tucson’s oldest and best-known youth mariachi groups. A new documentary about the group currently in production will include a scene of the group at this year’s festival.
