LOYLE CARNER RELEASES NEW ALBUM & TOUR

Loyle Carner releases his new album hopefully ! on Island EMI. Featuring the latest focus track “time to go,” hopefully ! is a landmark record from the groundbreaking British artist you thought you knew.

Sunlight streaming through the window, hopefully ! is Loyle Carner’s life-affirming exploration of childhood, fatherhood, and alternative music. In a series of firsts – singing, producing, accidentally forming the band of his dreams – the UK rapper cultivates healthier boundaries (“all i need”) whilst reflecting on the journey out of adolescence (“about time”). The album’s cinematic, self-directed visual centrepiece – “lyin” – brings to life a project which creates space, but, like its hand-picked guests, also speaks volumes about the artist and man Loyle Carner actually is in 2025; hopefully ! features contributors like Navy Blue, Nick Hakim, and even Carner’s late mentor Benjamin Zephaniah, who can be heard speaking on the Brixton riots.

A call for hope – if you know where to look for it – Loyle Carner’s new album is universal in theme, but richly open in personal detail. It’s their right down to its suitably-imperfect artwork, which was coloured in by his son (who features throughout the record) after he left some photos within arm’s reach. hopefully ! also articulates a period of growth in which Loyle Carner has, in his characteristically-unassuming way, earned rare status in British culture: this year alone, Loyle fronts a new campaign for Burberry alongside the likes of Liam Gallagher, whilst also filming his acting debut in an upcoming BBC drama, MINT, from Scrapper director Charlotte Regan.

Loyle Carner will be heading on a global tour kicking off with dates across Europe beginning in October, continuing on to the UK in November and following with North American dates in February 2026. The world tour follows his 2023 debut sold out North American tour and will also come after his upcoming headline Glastonbury set.

A musician, writer, director, producer, entrepreneur and actor, Loyle Carner first emerged with 2013’s A Little Late EP, and has since forged a signature blend of unflinching, diaristic lyricism with ambitious, genre-disruptive sounds. His debut album, 2017’s Yesterday’s Gone, untangled personal experiences of grief; 2019 follow-up, Not Waving, but Drowning, further showcased Loyle’s ability to set hip-hop against old-soul wisdom. A cathartic turning point proved to be 2022’s hugo: a taut, textured exploration of Black identity and anger, which also secured his second Top 3 album. Having been twice shortlisted for the Mercury Prize – and scored further BRIT and NME Award nominations – Carner has earned an impassioned worldwide following, with 1.1B streams, and sold-out shows including Alexandra Palace, Wembley Arena, Eventim Apollo, O2 Academy Brixton and Royal Albert Hall in his beloved London hometown alone. This journey climaxed in a headline appearance at All Points East’s 35,000 capacity Victoria Park last summer, which hopefully ! emerged in the wake of. A passionate advocate around his experiences of dyslexia and ADHD – notably founding the Chilli Con Carner cookery workshops – last year Loyle received an honourary doctorate from UAL in recognition of his powerful rise thus far.

Singer; rapper; poet; writer…his new album proves that Loyle Carner is all of these, and more. Now a decade in, the local-hero MC has grown into one of the UK’s most vital voices. hope !, in abundance.

Listen to hopefully ! above and find full routing for the upcoming world tour below.

ABOUT JONAS BROTHERS:
Standing out as one of the most successful groups of the 21st century, Jonas Brothers—Nick Jonas, Joe Jonas, and Kevin Jonas—have sold north of 20 million albums and counting, garnered two GRAMMY® Award nominations, earned 26 Billboard Hot 100 hits, logged three consecutive #1 debuts on the Billboard 200, and generated billions of streams. Among many accolades, they’ve recently claimed a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame. In 2019, they notably ignited the comeback of the decade with their Platinum-Certified Republic Records debut, Happiness Begins.

It yielded the history-making, 5x-Platinum smash “Sucker,” which minted them as “the first group in the 21st century to debut at #1 on the Hot 100,” exploded as the “longest running #1 Pop Airplay Single of 2019,” and received a GRAMMY® Award nomination in the category of “Best Pop Duo/Group Performance.” Bowing at #1 on the Billboard 200, Happiness Begins impressively scored the “biggest sales week of 2019 at time of release” and housed the Double-Platinum “Only Human” and Platinum “Cool.” The band supported the album with the worldwide “Happiness Begins Tour”—selling over 1.2 million tickets—and the Amazon Original documentaries Chasing Happiness and Happiness Continues.

Along the way, the members simultaneously juggled prolific solo careers extending into television, film, and successful business ventures. In 2023, Jonas Brothers once again proved they are a constant force, embarking on a new era with the release of The Album, via Republic Records. The Album was produced by Jon Bellion and features hit singles “Waffle House” and “Wings.” In support of the new album and this new era for Jonas Brothers, they kicked off “The Tour” with two sold-out shows at New York’s iconic Yankee Stadium. “The Tour” included stadium and arena dates around the globe through 2024, resulting in the band’s biggest and most extensive tour to date.

2025 marks a special year for Jonas Brothers as they celebrate their 20th anniversary as a band. To kick off the year, Jonas Brothers released two new singles–“Slow Motion” with producer Marshmello and “Love Me To Heaven.” They also hosted a milestone JONASCON fan event at New Jersey’s American Dream, where they celebrated 20 years of legacy, memories, and the Jonas Brothers fan community with over 75,000 fans from all over the world in attendance. JONASCON kicked off what’s bound to be an unforgettable year for the Jonas Brothers, including their brand new album, Greetings from Your Hometown, due out August 8th, and the highly-anticipated JONAS20: Greetings From Your Hometown Tour.

ALTERNATIVE POP SINGER-SONGWRITER MADILYN MEI & TOUR

Gaining traction as an innovative, singer, songwriter, and visual artist, Madilyn Mei shares a dreamy, wild west-infused new single entitled “At Least I’d Be A Cowboy!” out now via Mercury Records. Listen HERE. Watch the official music video HERE, animated by Kohana Wilson.

The new track rolls like tumbleweed in the wind, with its breezy sing-song melody swept up in rattling percussion, steady claps, and distant echoes of guitar. As a climactic chorus takes hold, the hazy groove bleeds into an utterly hypnotic hook, “I don’t wanna be a self-fulfilling prophecy, but I’ve been here before, it doesn’t end well in my dream. If I were a cowboy, it wouldn’t change a thing, but at least I’d be a cowboy!” The song delicately unfolds as an unshakable and nostalgic anthem evocative of Madilyn’s ever-expanding artistry. At the same time, the accompanying visual translates this vibe to the screen.

About the song, Madilyn commented “”At Least I’d Be A Cowboy!” is about a rodeo clown who longs to be a cowboy. It’s also about trying to cope with feelings of abandonment and trying to find your independence.

I was particularly inspired by Dean Martin’s “My Rifle My Pony and Me.” I wanted to write a song about cowboys, and I also really wanted to attempt that old western call and response style of vocals. Growing up in Arizona, I’ve always loved anything having to do with the old west, and it felt about time I wrote a song using that inspiration.

To me, cowboys represent independence and self-reliance. I was going through a really hard time when I wrote this song, and I wanted to be so independent that my trials couldn’t even phase me. But instead I felt like a lost puppy and a fool. I felt shaken up, afraid and truly alone for the first time ever. The idea of writing a song about being a cowboy felt ridiculous! I couldn’t be any further from the tough lone rangers I’d seen in the movies. So I wrote about a clown who had the same longing as me: to be able to cope with the hard times alone, to be a cowboy.

It’s a very personal song, though I hope others are able to see themselves in the lyrics and interpret it in whatever way fits them!”

It lands in the wake of “What’s Going On?!” Listen HERE. The latter has already gathered over 1 million Spotify streams as well as 625K YouTube views on the official music video. Watch HERE. Plus, the lyric “I am an alien, my rocket ship is human bone and skin” sparked a viral fever on TikTok and Instagram, with over 8,000 uses and countless fan-made animations.

This fall, Madilyn will launch The One Man Circus headline tour, kicking off on September 17 in Tucson, AZ, visiting major markets coast-to-coast, and concluding on November 15 in Dallas, TX. Tickets are on sale now HERE.  She will be supported by Rabbitology, Amelia Day, and Scrawny. In the immediate future, she will support AJRon a massive summer amphitheater tour alongside fellow special guests Quinn XCII, Chelsea Cutler, Cavetown, Goth Babe, and Valley. It kicks off on July 20 at Shoreline Amphitheatre in Mountain View, CA, visiting major markets coast-to-coast, and concluding on October 4 at Hollywood Bowl in Los Angeles, CA. Check out the full confirmed itinerary below.

Earlier this year, Madilyn dropped “Poppin Skittles, which quickly amassed over 1.1 million Spotify streams. Independently, she has impressively reeled in over 100 million streams total.

Now, she amplifies her vision in widescreen with more music to come.

ABOUT MADILYN MEI

The artistry of Madilyn Mei encompasses multiple dimensions of sound, sight, and most importantly, connection. Breaking stylistic barriers, her music circulates through a whirlwind of feelings, with theatrical inflection stretching from moments of vulnerability to expressions of vitality. The otherworldly production darkens or brightens the mood to match emotional pitch, embedding relatable feelings within a fantastical framework. The Arizona singer-songwriter stresses intense candor and unabashed honesty, exploring grounded and earthly experiences of anxiety, alienation, identity, loneliness, and love. At the same time, her music blasts off into the embrace of extraterrestrial soundscapes and wondrous visuals, all stemming from a singular mind. At 16-years-old, she released her debut song “Stolen Smiles,” paving the way for “Knotted Constellations” and “The Queen.” Single “Let’s Be Friends” became a fan favorite, building additional buzz, before breaking through with 2022’s “Blue Haired Boy,” which has generated 16.5 million Spotify streams to-date. The latter was the first building block for her debut EP Where No One Knows My Name. In 2023, she maintained her momentum with “The Milk Carton,” which has since amassed 16 million Spotify streams. A series of projects followed, including her full length studio debut To Exist With You [2023], and 2 EPs: Promise You Won’t Scream [2023], and The Bard [2024]. Indicative of her impact, Mei’s fanbase hangs onto every word, going as far as to dress up “fantasy-style” to see her at live shows. It’s no wonder AJR tapped her as support for their 2025 “Somewhere In The Sky Tour.”. Eclipsing over 100 million streams independently and earning critical acclaim, Madilyn Mei fashions a space for these emotions to run free on her forthcoming debut via Mercury Records.

MÖTLEY CRÜE RELEASE NEW VERSION OF “HOME SWEET HOME” FT. THE ICONIC DOLLY PARTON

Rock legends Mötley Crüe have announced the release of From The Beginning, a brand-new singles collection arriving on September 12, 2025 via BMG, the same day that the legendary rockers will kick off their highly anticipated 10-show residency at Dolby Live at Park MGM in Las Vegas, NV.
From The Beginning is Mötley Crüe’s definitive compilation and traces the band’s storied career from their start on the Sunset Strip in Los Angeles to their current status as global rock titans. The album includes a stunning new version of the band’s revered classic, “Home Sweet Home,” reimagined as a heartfelt duet with none other than globally beloved superstar Dolly Parton that is out everywhere now.
Bringing together two giants of American music, the new rendition of “Home Sweet Home” feat. Dolly Parton offers a powerful twist on the 1985 hit. To drive home the song’s positive message of hope, a portion of the proceeds from the single will benefit Covenant House, an organization close to the hearts of the members of Mötley Crüe. Covenant House provides safe shelter, meals, hope and more to help youth experiencing homelessness.
The members of Mötley Crüe shared in a joint statement, “‘Home Sweet Home’ was first released in 1985 as a single from our Theatre Of Pain album. For an icon like Dolly Parton to sing on a song that has not only meant so much to us but to all the fans through the years, is a career high that means a lot to us. We couldn’t be happier to celebrate the 40th anniversary of ‘Home Sweet Home’ in this special way, and we’re excited to share this version of the song with all the Dolly and Mötley fans around the world.”
The members add, “That we were able to unite with Dolly to raise awareness for homeless youth and the amazing work of Covenant House, which provides them safe housing and care, makes it even more special. We hope you’ll enjoy ‘Home Sweet Home’ featuring Dolly Parton as much as Dolly and we enjoyed creating it.”
Dolly Parton offered, “It was an honor and a joy working in the studio on Mötley Crüe’s 40th Anniversary re-release of ‘Home Sweet Home’. I was so pleased that they would ask me to sing on such a classic.”

RISING ARTIST JAKE MINCH UNVEILS NEW SINGLE & TOUR

Rising singer, songwriter, and multi-instrumentalist Jake Minch unveils his new song “Drawing a Tattoo” today—listen HERE. The track comes ahead of his highly-anticipated debut album, George, set for July 11 via 2for2 projects/Mercury Records—pre-save/pre-order HERE.

“This is a song about leaving home because there was no other choice,” says Jake. “It’s an amalgamation of the lives and memories of me and the friends I left when I moved to LA, along with the things I would tell myself to keep my feet on the ground. It’s partially a callout to my own inability to change without needing to feel better than everyone else (like competitively growing up) and the comedown of seeing a friend get trapped.”

In celebration of the new music, Jake will embark on a headline tour this August, with stops at Brooklyn’s Baby’s All Right, Los Angeles’ Moroccan Lounge, Chicago’s Schubas Tavern, Toronto’s Velvet Underground and more. Visit https://shop.jakeminch.com for more information and see below for a complete list of dates.

Recorded and produced between Los Angeles and Connecticut by Jake and Tony Berg(Taylor Swift, Boygenius) with contribution from Mason Stoops (Lizzy McAlpine, Role Model), George finds the 22-year-old storyteller exploring grief, guilt and identity through the complexities in his personal relationships. Titled after Jake’s birth name, Georgecaptures the angst and discomfort of growing up and leaving home with a disarming vulnerability that traces the album’s 12 tracks.

Ahead of the album, Jake shared the first single, “Fingers and Clothes,” last month—listen HERE and watch the official video HERE.

Born and raised in Connecticut, Jake Minch burst onto the scene in 2023 with his hit single “handgun,” racking up 1.3 million views on the song’s initial teaser and earning support from the likes of Noah Kahan, Lizzy McAlpine, Zach Bryan, Gracie Abrams, Fletcher and many more. Over the last few years, the 2for2 projects/Mercury Records artist has garnered a dedicated fanbase through his deeply personal lyrics on love, growing up and grief. Jake has toured the world over, sharing stages with the likes of The Head And The Heart, Jeremy Zucker, Ben Abraham, Holly Humberstone, Grace Enger and Sadie Jean. He’ll set off on an extensive North American headline tour this summer / fall.

More from Jake is imminent.

Long Island Music and Entertainment Hall of Fame to Induct Influential Band, The Hassles

The Long Island Music and Entertainment Hall of Fame (LIMEHOF) will be inducting Long Island’s own 1960s era seminal rock-soul group, The Hassles—best known as Billy Joel’s first major record label band— including acclaimed drummer-turned-video-director Jon Small.

Additionally, there will be a special celebration event co-produced by Stephen Marcuccio on Saturday, June 28th, at 8 p.m. at its Stony Brook Village Museum, located at 97 Main Street in Stony Brook, NY.  The event is open to the public with special event ticket purchase. Tickets are $50 and include access to LIMEHOF’s Exclusive Billy Joel My Life: A Piano Man’s Journey exhibit, which features a section about the Hassles.

“The Hassles were a dynamic and influential part of Long Island’s musical fabric in the 1960s, known for their powerful performances and infectious sound,” said Tom Needham, LIMEHOF Vice Chairman. “Their recordings and live shows left a lasting impression on the region, and their role in launching Billy Joel’s career only adds to their enduring legacy.”

The Hassles were formed in 1964 and performed until 1969. They played in a wide range of Long Island venues and produced two full-length albums. Original members included Richard McKenna (guitar), Jon Small (drums), John Dizek (vocals, harmonica, tambourine), Harry Weber (bass, organ) Billy Joel (keyboards, vocals), and Howie Arthur Blauvelt (bass). Jon Small and Richard McKenna, surviving members of the group, are expected to be in attendance to accept the induction. Billy Joel is not expected to appear, but this induction makes him a two-time LIMEHOF inductee.

LIMEHOF inductee Liberty DeVitto (Billy Joel’s Band) is expected to officially induct the group. The event will feature live performances from current LIMEHOF inductees, including the hit-making duo The Alessi Brothers, and two-time LIMEHOF inductee drummer Mike Ricciardella of Barnaby Bye and The Illusion. Joining them on guitar will be legendary guitarist Jimmy Rip. These musicians will honor the legacy of The Hassles by performing some of the group’s most popular songs, including ‘Every Step I Take,’ ‘You Got Me Hummin’,’ and ‘I Can Tell.’ Also, LIMEHOF inductee Albert Bouchard (founding and former member of Blue Öyster Cult) is expected to speak as well.

This event will be co-produced by music visionary Stephen Marcuccio, whose long-standing presence in the Long Island music scene includes his work as co-founder of The Downtown (Long Island’s iconic live venue), and his decades-long collaboration with The Alessi Brothers.

“This night is about honoring the legacy of Long Island music,” Marcuccio said. “The Hassles were a critical part of that history. Recognizing Jon Small and his incredible impact on both music and visual storytelling is long overdue.”

For more information and to purchase tickets, please visit LIMEHOF’s website: https://www.limusichalloffame.org/ Follow @LIMEHOF on social media for updates.

About the Inductees and Performers

A LOOK BACK AT THE HASSLES

Formed in 1964 on Long Island, The Hassles gained regional and national attention with their fusion of R&B, rock, and blue-eyed soul. With Billy Joel on organ and vocals, and Jon Small on drums, the band released two albums (The Hassles and Hour of the Wolf) on United Artists Records and toured extensively, influencing generations of musicians. The Hassles marked the beginning of Billy Joel’s extraordinary musical journey, and Jon Small’s early role in the band was just the beginning of a dynamic and groundbreaking career.

HONORING JON SMALL: A PIONEER IN MUSIC VIDEO DIRECTION

After his tenure with The Hassles and the duo Attila (also with Billy Joel), Jon Small went on to redefine music visuals as one of the top video directors in the business. He has worked with an A-list roster of artists, including Garth Brooks, Whitney Houston, Sting, Billy Joel, and Meatloaf. He also worked with James Taylor, served as executive producer for Taylor Swift, and he also created Concert Films for Van Morrison, Lynyrd Skynyrd, The Highway Men with Johnny Cash, Willie Nelson, Kris Kristofferson, and Waylon Jennings, among many other artists. Jon has produced and directed world-class concert films and music videos that have shaped the visual language of modern music, including his music video, ‘Walk This Way.’ In this collaborative hit by Run-DMC and Aerosmith, Jon is credited with the iconic visual concept of the video, which featured the bands playing on opposite sides of a wall, and then breaking through to perform together.

THE ALESSI BROTHERS: POP LEGENDS and Long Island Natives

LIMEHOF inductees Billy and Bobby Alessi (Barnaby Bye), better known as The Alessi Brothers, are renowned for their rich harmonies and chart-topping 1970s and 80s hits like ‘Seabird,’ ‘Oh Lori,’ and ‘Sad Songs.’ With their own roots, deep in the Long Island music scene, The Alessi Brothers’ connection to The Hassles is personal and profound. They have long been champions of Long Island’s musical heritage.

SPECIAL GUESTS: JIMMY RIP AND MIKE RICCIARDELLA

Also performing will be legendary guitarist Jimmy Rip, who is also a producer whose work includes collaborations with Jerry Lee Lewis, Mick Jagger, Debbie Harry, not to mention a long tenure as guitarist for the seminal New York band of the 1970s, Television. Filling out the rhythm section is legendary longtime drummer for The Illusion and Barnaby Bye, Mike Ricciardella, who is also a two-time LIMEHOF inductee.

PRODUCED BY LONG ISLAND MUSIC VISIONARIES

This event is being co-produced by Stephen Marcuccio, whose long-standing presence in the Long Island music scene includes his work as Co-Founder of The Downtown (Long Island’s iconic live venue) and his decades-long collaboration with the Alessi Brothers.

Elijah Johnston Releases “Stupid Soul” & Tour

Elijah Johnston will release Stupid Soul tomorrow via Strolling Bones Records. The 12-track set was produced by Tommy Trautwein at The Zoo in Athens, GA and is the follow up to Johnston’s 2023 Strolling Bones debut Hometown Vampire. Sometimes sharply witty and sometimes achingly plainspoken, Stupid Soul conveys big, complicated ideas with grace and generosity.

Whether the Atlanta-based songwriter is singing about young people struggling with their own bodies or baby bands trying to find their sound or anybody weathering football season in a college town, Johnston writes songs about figuring things out. Met with critical acclaim, Under the Radar said “…Johnston has steadily developed a steadfast songwriting voice and an adroit talent for pop melodicism” while Glide Magazine said, “Stupid Soul does a great job mining both the personal and the universal, combining heavy topics with some of life’s breezier moments for a deeply enjoyable experience.”

Supported by arrangements that ingeniously blend Beach Boys pomp, girl group harmonies, Rundgren melodicism, and Athens, GA jangle, his lyrics pose questions rather than present answers. It’s an approach that leaves space for listeners to find a little bit of themselves in there. Daring and vulnerable, Stupid Soul is not concerned with overcoming demons or breaking bad habits. It’s more about living with those dark thoughts and finding sparks of joy in other people – a lover, a friend, or even his bandmates.

Today, Magnet Magazine premiered the album in its entirety, saying, “He’s a craftsman and a tinkerer all the way—a guy equally swayed by alt-rock’s arena-sized choruses and the refined singer/songwriter emoting of the 1990s and 2000s. The two aesthetics are hardly mutually exclusive, as Stupid Soul demonstrates time and again with its clear-eyed sentiments, easy hooks, efficient performances and polished production.” Hear it in full, a day ahead of its official release, HERE.

On Stupid Soul, Johnston is joined by Gideon Johnston, Drew Beskin, Tommy Trautwein, as well as Aidan Hill of Hotel Fiction on a rendition of Bruce Springsteen’s “Valentine’s Day,” and Jordan Reynolds of Rose Hotel on the song “Everything We Hold Dear.” Johnston wanted to spotlight everyone’s unique contributions and emphasize their particular dynamic as a band. In other words, he wanted it to sound like a record only these people could make, and their chemistry comes through in every song. Johnston says, “Even though it’s just one person’s name, it’s super collaborative. People have asked me, Why don’t you just come up with a band name? And the only real answer I have is that it’s too late. We’re too far down the track.”

They recorded songs at Trautwein’s home studio in the Normaltown neighborhood of Athens, a relaxed space where they could take their time tinkering with the songs. It was summer in a college town, so it was hot and humid but “nobody was around. Athens in the summertime feels like you’re living on Mars. Everybody’s gone. So there were no distractions.”

Elijah Johnston has announced his initial live performances in support of Stupid Soul. To celebrate the release, he will appear tomorrow night at the legendary 40 Watt Club in Athens, GA during the town’s annual ATHFEST. Please see live dates, with more to be added, below.

Elijah Johnston’s Stupid Soul will be available across digital platforms, compact disc, and green color vinyl. It is available NOW via STROLLING BONES RECORDS.
