Noach Cyrus New Album & Tour

Pre-order/add/save I WANT MY LOVED ONES TO GO WITH ME HERE.

Set for release on July 11 via RECORDS/Columbia Records, I WANT MY LOVED ONES TO GO WITH MEwas co-produced by Noah Cyrus alongside long-time, trusted collaborators Mike Crossey and PJ Harding, and features special guests Blake Shelton, Fleet Foxes, Ella Langley and Bill Callahan.

Tickets for her highly anticipated North American headline tour go on-sale this Friday, June 20 at 10am local. Artist pre-sale begins Tuesday, June 17 at 10am local until Thursday, June 19 at 11:59pm local. Fans can sign-up for early access to both General Admission and Exclusive VIP Packages by visiting www.noahcyrus.com/#tour

Rooted in Americana, indie folk, and country music, I WANT MY LOVED ONES TO GO WITH ME is a moody, dynamic listening experience mixing whispered vocals with full-throated declarations of personal independence, all tied together by gorgeous organic instrumentation, pedal steel, banjo, dulcimer, mandolin, cellos, and acoustic guitars frame Noah’s smoky yet supple voice. “For a long time, I couldn’t really trust in my own choices. I had to learn how to make decisions for myself and make that transition into adulthood,” Noah Cyrus, now 25, says. “But I’ve found who I am, I know who I am, and this record shows what I had inside me all this time. This album is me.”

Noah pays homage to members of her family in ways both subtle and overt throughout the album. In “Don’t Put It All On Me,” Noah records a song her brother Braison wrote for her, and turns it into a collaboration with Robin Pecknold of Fleet Foxes, one of Braison’s favorite bands. She also brings to life the very first song her father, Billy Ray Cyrus, ever wrote. “With You” is a crisp electric-guitar ballad about undying devotion: “Just listen in the wind and know that I’m your friend/And always with you,” she sings. “My dad is one of my biggest influences,” Noah says. “He turned me on to so many great songs and artists. My musical inspirations came from somewhere, and more often than not, it’s been him.”

There’s also a nod to her father’s influence in “I Saw the Mountains,” a tale of recognizing and communing with the beauty in nature. As a child of Tennessee and California, Noah was always outdoors, and often on horseback. “The harmony between people and the earth is really taken for granted,” she says. “My dad taught us from an early age to connect with nature and the animals that inhabit it.”

Those themes — of family, of nature — pair effortlessly with Noah and Crossey’s immersive interpretation of country music. They tip-toed around the genre on Noah’s full-length debut, 2022’s The Hardest Part, but throw themselves headlong into its sounds on I WANT MY LOVED ONES TO GO WITH ME.

So, Noah continues to walk, confident in the knowledge that she’s found herself and hopeful that listeners will too.

“I want this album to offer fans a sense of comforting, peaceful nostalgia. That’s something that I feel so heavily when I listen to music. We all want to connect with our past while also being aware of the present moment. Music does that for me, and this collection of songs was made with that in mind,” Noah says. “I want to evoke that feeling of a comforting friend that a song can be — and allow us all to heal.”

I WANT MY LOVED ONES TO GO WITH ME is out via RECORDS/Columbia Records on July 11

Don’t Let’s Go to the Dogs Tonight

By Miv Evans

DON’T LET’S GO TO THE DOGS TONIGHT – a South African Memoir

This is a vivid portrayal of a dysfunctional family’s struggle to survive the Rhodesian Bush War.  Unfortunately for them, they’re living in turbulent times both inside and outside their home.  As their country flounders, then so do they  The narrative is intimate and confident and has a foreboding charm that paints South Africa at its most haunting.  It’s hard to turn away for a moment.

The war began in 1964.  Don’t Let’s Go to the Dogs Tonight is set in the summer of ‘79.   It’s just before an election, with  white minority rule under threat and folk getting nervous.  Among them are the Fuller family, made up of Tim (Rob Van Vuuren), his wife Nicola (Embeth Davidtz); daughters Vanessa (Anina Reed) and Bobo (Lexi Venter).  Home is a sprawling farm and the occupants enjoy the privileges their race begets.  The parents have an undying conviction that their status is justified, but their eight-year-old offspring isn’t so sure.  And it’s through her eyes that this tale is told.

Bobo shares with her audience the version of Rhodesian history she has been taught, which is glaringly racist. But no sooner have her words tumbled out than they are turned on their head.  Somehow, and against all odds, Bobo’s parents’white supremacy brainwashing has failed.  Their 8-year-old has also dismissed the hierarchy rationale and in its place is a scorecard.

Unsurprisingly, Ma and Pa aren’t doing too well.  Sure, Bobo believes there are bad black terrorists, but that has nothing to do with Sarah (Zikhona Bali) and Jacob (Fumani N. Shilubana).  As she explains, her family “live with” these two people – and thus the dynamic of the film is born.  At some level, Bobo believes it’s their farm; not her family’s. It’s an eviscerating moment.

Our heroine spends her time whizzing around on a motorbike with an air rifle slung over her back.  Her mother sleeps with her weapon of choice laid snugly by her side.  If Tim has to leave the farm overnight, he hires a bodyguard to take his place. To get from A to B, residents book a slot on a convoy with an armed police escort.  Surrounded by so much danger, tragedy is expected when a hissing snake shows up in the Fuller kitchen.  But instead, a nightdress-clad Mrs.Fuller casually blasts the intruder to kingdom come while reminding Sarah she’s waiting for her morning tea.  It’s comedy at its most timely.

The passion that drives this story is matched by the restraint with which it’s told.  In daylight the land is tinged with gold, where the blood of South Africans has spilled, yet victory was not won. When a radio comes on, it plays the protest song that inspired the white anti-apartheid movement, but no comment is made.  And when the final curtain falls, Bobo sheds no tears, but we know she will pine.

So it’s a silent farewell for a tale where so little was spoken, but so much was said.

TELLVRIS Drops Explosive New Single “Monster” & Tour

European modern metal outfit STELLVRIS announces the release of their explosive new single “Monster” on June 6, 2025 across all streaming platforms. Two weeks later, fans will be treated to the world premiere of the official “Monster” music video. Stay tuned! The video will also be made available on YouTube.
“Monster” confronts the draining dynamic of a toxic relationship—whether romantic, platonic, or professional—where one person bends over backwards to understand and appease red flags, only to realize that self-sacrifice isn’t sustainable. When push comes to shove, you reclaim your voice, your power, and say enough is enough. STELLVRIS crafted this track to empower anyone stuck in a damaging dynamic, giving them the courage to walk away.
Musically, “Monster” is a high-voltage fusion of modern metal and electronic textures, anchored by an epic soaring chorus and culminating in a jaw-dropping finale that nobody sees coming. Produced, mixed, and mastered by Christoph Wieczorek (Electric Callboy, Annisokay), the “Monster” single delivers world-class sonic clarity and intensity.
“‘Monster’ is our most unapologetic track yet,” explains vocalist Nicol. “We wanted to create an anthem that speaks to anyone who’s ever stretched themselves too thin for someone who doesn’t deserve it. This song is your permission slip to break free.”
“Monster” will also feature on STELLVRIS’s forthcoming EP, due for release this fall. With a string of European and UK tour dates already confirmed, including performance at Summer Breeze, the band is gearing up for a breakout year. “We can’t wait to bring ‘Monster’ to the stage and watch fans scream every word back at us,” says Nicol.

Simpler times, when pop anthems ruled the airwaves and we still thought the world might end. Well, this guilty pleasure just got a metal makeover. Breakdowns, heavy riffs, and all the chaos you didn’t know it needed. Nothing says nostalgia like turning your teenage anthems into full-blown headbangers. Enjoy the ride!”

THE KNOCKS & DRAGONETTE RELEASE REVELATION ALBUM & TOUR

The New York City electronic duo The Knocks and Canadian electro-pop powerhouse artist Dragonette (aka Martina Sorbara) release their debut collaborative album Revelation via Neon Gold Records / Futures / Virgin.

The culminating finale of this full-length collaborative journey includes fan favorite standout tracks “Foolish Pleasure“, “Revelation”, “The Hero,” and the focus single revealed today, “Love Me Alive”. Once again, they deliver a match made in dance-pop heaven. This new era is set in a 1980’s corporate liminal space at the fictional company Revelation Technologies, with Aquaria (RuPaul’s Drag Race winner) being the muse. The campaign is a satirical look at the homogenization of marketing and art in the modern landscape, presented through the lens of “executives” selling magic pill products by way of corporate doublespeak and overt sales tactics. This collaboration is a follow-up to The Knocks & Dragonette’s 2019 GRAMMY-nominated single “Slow Song.”

The tracklist also includes a shimmering reimagining of Pete Townshend’s classic “Let My Love Open The Door,” recast through the duo’s signature synth-driven, emotionally charged lens.

Revelation album download / buy

“Revelation, to me, is some of the best music we’ve made to date. It’s cohesive, intentional, and achieves exactly the sound/vibe that we were aiming to create. We are extremely blessed to have been able to collaborate so closely with someone as prolific as Dragonette. They are truly amazing. This project feels like a coming of age for us creatively, and I feel like it’s a perfect evolution of “The Knocks sound”. Revelation is our fourth album now, but it feels like we’re really just getting started as music producers/writers.”JPatt from The Knocks

Dragonette (aka Martina Sorbara) adds:  “Love Me Alive” is the first song that The Knocks and I wrote after “Slow Song”. There was no objective when we started it, but as soon as the song took shape, I think we could kind of tell that this song was a relative of Slow Song and it opened our minds to the idea that there could be even more songs in this world we created together. So to me it’s kind of the mamma song to all the others on the album.”

The Knocks & Dragonette, along with their muse Aquaria, finally share their Revelation Technologies philosophy and vision: you can stream / buy the Revelation album here.

The Knocks bio:
The prolific GRAMMY-nominated and multi-platinum-selling NYC dance music luminaries deliver a carefree electronic sound that draws from disco, house, hip hop, soul, funk, indie, and pop. Comprised of James Patterson and Ben Ruttner, the duo produce a dizzying array of danceable, New York-inspired music, bringing their DJ sets and live electronic performances around the world.

With more than 3 billion streams and consistent chart success, they have now released 4 full-length albums, 5 EP’s, and performed their hit singles on US late night TV shows including Stephen Colbert, Jimmy Fallon, Jimmy Kimmel, and Seth Meyers. Known for their collaborative prowess, The Knocks have worked with artists across the musical spectrum, ranging from indie [Foster The People, MGMT, MUNA], hip hop [Cam’ron, Wyclef, Method Man], dance [Purple Disco Machine, ODESZA, SOFI TUKKER], and pop [Billie Eilish, Carly Rae Jepsen, Charli XCX].

Dragonette bio:
Martina Sorbara, better known as the electro-pop artist Dragonette, has lived multiple musical lifetimes over the past 15 years. A JUNO Award-winning artist and sought-after songwriter, Sorbara has scored numerous global hits, including “Pick Up the Phone,” “Let it Go,” and the chart-topping “Hello” with Martin Solveig. She’s collaborated with the world’s biggest DJs (Basement Jaxx, Kaskade, and Galantis, among others) and released four acclaimed albums, including the JUNO-nominated Fixin to Thrill (2009) and Bodyparts (2012). Along the way, Dragonette has headlined shows across the globe; supported the likes of Duran Duran, New Order, Ke$ha, and Miike Snow; and played to thousands of fans at Coachella, Electric Daisy Carnival, Glastonbury, and Lollapalooza.

A longtime priority writer with Sony/ATV publishing, the Toronto-based Sorbara also regularly works with acts under UMG, Warner Music, Syco, and Spinnin’. Her musically diverse credits include songs for Keith Urban, Cyndi Lauper, Pretty Sister, Mike Mago, and Carly Rae Jepsen with The Knocks.
