Celebrating 30 Years
2022 Arizona International Film Festival
April 20 – April 30
The 30th Arizona International Film Festival, the oldest film celebration in Arizona, will run April 20 to April 30, 2022 at The Screening Room (downtown), the Mercado Annex (westside), the Historic Hotel Congress, and several other venues throughout Tucson.
Remaining true to the independent spirit, the Arizona International Film Festival is a venue for independent filmmakers in search of an independent audience.
The Festival theme of Bridging Cultures provides a way for independent cinema to share images and voices of diverse cultures from around the world with Arizona communities.
The Festival always produces exciting surprises, challenging subject matter and a bountiful repertoire of films you won’t find anywhere else. Many of the films screened go on to win prestigious awards including Oscars and national recognition.
Since 1990, the Festival has shown more than 3000 films from 96 countries around the world to more than 168,000 film lovers of all ages.
