On September 11, 2001, Americans responded to the worst attack in history on U.S soil. In the days following the tragedy, Americans showed compassion for one another and connected with their neighbors; charities, foundations and organizations were created to provide for survivors and families and to honor their memory; and communities focused on supporting survivors and first responders. The Cochise Freedom Fest event celebrates freedom purchased by the sacrifices of emergency first responders and law enforcement as well as armed forces.
