Route 66 Cruisin’ Reunion – Classic Cars, Fabulous Food,
Live Concerts and Family Fun!

September 16 and 17 – Live concerts by the Jefferson Starship on Friday night and Shiela E on Saturday night! Route 66 Cruisin’ Reunion®, a 501-(c3) organization, created by the Greater Ontario Visitors & Convention Bureau.

It is a Southern California ultimate weekend celebration of America’s love affair with the automobile and its world-famous highway, Route 66. Two days of cruisin’, contests, live entertainment, fabulous food and revelry make it one of the best events of its kind. Held annually each September along historic, tree-shaded Euclid Avenue in Ontario, California, Route 66 Cruisin’ Reunion is where classic cruisers, convertibles, hot rods, and wicked Woodies fuel a jam-packed jamboree. California’s Inland Empire
Prohibition was the legal prevention of the manufacture, sale, and transportation of alcoholic beverages in the United States from 1920 to 1933!  Today you can visit The Temperance Fountain located near “C” Street on Euclid Avenue in Ontario. It was built in 1908 to promote an alternative to alcohol. Curious to learn more check out Galleano Winery – yes they do have wine tasting!
Galleano Winery is located in Mira Loma’s Wineville area and is still much the same as it was in 1927 when the Galleano family purchased the land.  The winery is located at the southern fringe of the Cucamonga Valley, made famous for winegrowing by Secondo Guasti, who like Domenico came from northern Italy’s Piedmonte region.  The name means foot of the mountains and would be appropriate to Cucamonga, an alluvial plain that sweeps down from the eastern reaches of the San Gabriel Mountains.

In the 1940’s there were more than 45,000 acres devoted to vineyards in the area, and approximately 60 wineries. Today, Galleano Winery is the last remaining bonded, Prohibition-Era winery still owned and operated by its founding family at its original location in the Cucamonga Valley. The Galleano family is honored that the Landmark Cantu-Galleano Ranch complex is listed on the California and National Register of Historic Places.

The Rancho Cucamonga Quakes are a Minor League Baseball team of the California League and the Single-A affiliate of the Los Angeles Dodgers. They are located in Rancho Cucamonga, California, and play their home games at LoanMart Field.  Grab the family and enjoy some baseball – this stadium gets you up close to the players.  You never know who may be going to the big leagues – let’s cheer on the future players of the big show!
