THE AMERICA 250 LECTURE SERIES WITH JACK LASSETER
The Making of the Constitution
of the United States
Wednesday, January 5 | 2 PM
The National Parks Store Patio
It was a hot and humid summer in Philadelphia in 1787 when delegates from the various states got together to create a Federal Government for us. It was not the best temperature for such an arduous task, but it couldn’t wait. Something had to be done if we were to survive as one people. Come and hear the fascinating story of how it was done. It is one of the epic stories of our American history and made even more interesting as Jack tells it. You will think you were there!
Tickets are $5* and must be purchased online only before the presentation. Click here to purchase your tickets online. Tickets will not be available for purchase through The National Parks Store. Tickets are nonrefundable.
*member preferred pricing applies.
This event will take place in person, outside on the patio; please check the weather and dress accordingly. Face masks are required.
