Annie and William Neal Mountain View Hotel Talk

In 1895, Annie and William Neal opened the lavish Mountain View Hotel in Oracle, AZ. At the grand opening not one, but two, orchestras performed. Imported food and champagne were served. Over the years it entertained international and wealthy guests. Annie Neal served as the “proprietress” and was acclaimed for her skills as a hostess.

How did they accomplish this success? Come join us to discuss two remarkable individuals who were early mixed race residents of Tucson and were responsible for bringing international attention to Oracle.

Wanda Winningham is the presenter on Sunday, October 8, 2:00 PM at the Acadia Ranch Museum. There is no charge for the event, but donations are always welcome. Light refreshments will be served.
