Cave Creek, Arizona – Cave Creek Museum will open on Wednesday, October 1, 2025, from 1-4:30 PM, for the 2025-2026 season. Attendance is free for everyone on opening day.
“We look forward to opening our doors to a record number of visitors,” says JoAnn Stuckey, museum executive director. “Come and explore our wonderful collection of pre-historic pottery and artifacts in our Archaeology Wing, linger in the History Wing and follow Cave Creek’s evolution from a military outpost to the town we love today, and of course, check out our indoor and outdoor exhibits and learn more about Cave Creek’s fascinating mining history. I encourage members and visitors to bring friends and families to the museum to see what’s new.”
The 55-year-old museum’s mission is to preserve the artifacts of the prehistory, history, culture and legacy of the Cave Creek Mining District and the Cave Creek/Carefree foothills area through education, research, and interpretive exhibits. The Cave Creek Museum is located at 6140 E. Skyline Drive in Cave Creek, Ariz., 480.488.2764. Open October through May.
