Launch Information for Southern Arizona Rocketry Association Desert Heat Returns to Southern Arizona!
After a several year break, Southern Arizona Rocketry Association is proud to announce that its traditional weekend-long rocketry festival is returning to Southern Arizona April 1 – 3, 2022!
Please join us the first weekend in April for day and night launches as high as 5,000 feet above ground level, flights powered by motors up to M power, on site rocket vendors, and a collectable T-shirt commemorating Desert Heat’s return to southern Arizona!
RV and tent camping is available on site at the TIMPA launch site west of Tucson, but there are no hookups, no fires, & no potable water on site.
