FAMED R&B GROUP JODECI SET TO PERFORM AT THE DIAMOND CENTER ON JAN. 28
The “Bad Boys” of R&B are coming to the Desert Diamond Casinos & Entertainment. Jodeci, the multi-platinum recording group, will perform at the Diamond Center on Saturday, Jan. 28, 2023. Tickets start at $45 and are on sale now. Tickets can be purchased through Etix and at Desert Diamond Casino’s Box Office starting at 10am on Nov. 4. Doors open at 7 p.m.; show starts at 8 p.m. Anyone exhibiting COVID-19 or flu-like symptoms, or with recent exposure to a person with COVID-19, is asked to stay home.
Jodeci, formed by members K-Ci, DeVante Swing, Jo-Jo, and Mr. Dalvin, are one of the most iconic R&B groups of all time with hit songs, “Forever My Lady,” “Come and Talk to Me,” “Stay,” “Freek’n You,” and “Love U 4 Life.” Jodeci has sold over 20 million records worldwide. They reunited in 2021 and in 2022 began a 30-city tour joining legendary acts Charlie Wilson and New Edition on “The Culture Tour.”
Hailing from Charlotte, North Carolina, the duo of brothers joined forces in 1989. They made the trek to New York City in 1991 where they were signed on the spot by the late Andre Harrell to Uptown Records. They released their first album, “Forever My Lady,” which debuted at No. 1 on the Billboard Top R&B Albums chart in its first week of release. They released their second album, “Diary of a Mad Band,” in 1993 which also reached No. 1 on the Billboard Hot R&B/Hip-Hop Singles and Track chart. This was followed up with another No. 1 album in 1995, “The Show, the After Party, the Hotel.”
