Invisible Theatre’s Managing Artistic Director, Susan Claassen and Associate Managing Artistic Director Betsy Kruse Craig, announced six plays for the company’s 52nd Anniversary Season. The lineup includes the SW premieres of acclaimed Off-Broadway contemporary plays, romantic comedies, the Arizona premieres of tributes to 20th Century Musical Icons and Defenders of Liberty.

Claassen and Craig said, “We are offering an early bird price that is the same as last season as our way of saying thank you to all our patrons who helped to see us through the crazy roller coaster of the last three years. FROM BROADWAY TO HOLLYWOOD features award winning pianist, historian and master story teller Richard Glazier in a multi-media musical tour-de-force from the Tin Pan Alley to Tinsel Town! Richard Glazier combines fascinating backstories, the Jewish influence of composers, with performances of songs from “My Fair Lady” to “An American in Paris” to “Over the Rainbow”, and “Pure Imagination” as well as a Bacharach medley and Khachaturian’s Sabre Dance. The production features exclusive interview footage with some of the magnificent composers and performers. The grand finale is the complete solo version of Gershwin’s “Rhapsody in Blue”.
