Invisible Theatre’s Managing Artistic Director, Susan Claassen and Associate Managing Artistic Director Betsy Kruse Craig, announced six plays for the company’s 52nd Anniversary Season. The lineup includes the SW premieres of acclaimed Off-Broadway contemporary plays, romantic comedies, the Arizona premieres of tributes to 20th Century Musical Icons and Defenders of Liberty.

Richard Glazier combines fascinating backstories, the Jewish influence of composers, with performances of songs from “My Fair Lady” to “An American in Paris” to “Over the Rainbow”, and “Pure Imagination” as well as a Bacharach medley and Khachaturian’s Sabre Dance. The production features exclusive interview footage with some of the magnificent composers and performers. The grand finale is the complete solo version of Gershwin’s “Rhapsody in Blue”.
