Triangle L Ranch, Oracle Piano Society and the Oracle Historical Society Present Rare Screening of The Mine with the Iron Door, 100th Anniversary of the 1924 Silent Movie Projection with Live Musical Accompaniment on Saturday and Sunday, October 5-6, 2024. The movie was written at Rancho Linda Vista. The Cast stayed at Triangle L Ranch and Filmed in Oracle, Oro Valley and Canyon del Oro AZ.
Saturday, Oct 5, 2024 at the Triangle L Ranch Outdoor Courtyard, The Mine with the Iron Door Silent Film Screening. Musical score composed / conducted by Brian Holman. Gates open at 5pm • Film Screening seating at 6pm. 8pm – 10pm Western Dance with The Tumbleweeds. Wear your 1920s attire. $25 per person available online.

On Saturday, September 21, at 4 p.m., author Robert Zucker will give a presentation on the legend and the history of the Mine with the Iron Door and the movie. Robert is the author of Treasures of the Santa Catalina Mountains and other books.
On Saturday, September 28, at 3 p.m., historian Jim Turner will give a talk on Harold Bell Wright, author of the book “Mine with the Iron Door”. Both presentations will be at the Acadia Ranch Museum. The presentations are free but donations are gratefully accepted.
